I liked some of the wiki's other libraries used. I liked the booklovers wiki http://booklovers.pbwiki.com/Princeton%20Public%20Library, I thought this was a very nice way to find books by subject, very helpful.
I liked the Bull Run Library wiki http://bullrunlibrary.pbwiki.com/ , it seemed very easy to use.

Thing 15 Library 2.0

The future of libraries are going very high-tech where you can access the library at home, work, school and anywhere you have a computer. I just hope this next generaton doesn't stop reading and our library will have a 55 % drop in circulation as did the library in the article, if this happens we may be all out of jobs!

THING 14 TECHNORATI

Favorite blogs, top searches and top blogs in Technorati seemed to me to be a lot alike. When I put in "learning 2.0" our "23 things" came up as a blog, which was interesting. The bloggers seem to be young . To tag a site seems to be easily done.

Del.icio.us was very informative. It is amazing what can be done if you have the time to play around on the computer. If someone is doing a report they can get a lot of information by using what other people have researched on a certain subject. A good way to use flickr too.

Merlin was interesting, I liked the Topix newsfeed information on Cumberland . Syndic 8 was a little confusing too much to look at, too busy!!!

THING 8 RSS Feeds

RSS feeds are very interesting, there is a lot of information out there and this helps you get what information you want and to put it into your own personal blogline in summary.

I am trying to explore this new concept, a lot of new things. Hopefuly I will get the hang of things. I like all the new ideas you can do with pictures, since I take a lot of my grandkids.
